NFRC will be implementing an Independent Verification Program (IVP) on May 1, 2013 to assist all ENERGY STAR® Partners in the NFRC PCP meet their ENERGY STAR Partner Commitments. The enrollment process for participation in the NFRC IVP begins March 5th and requires each ENERGY STAR Partner to complete a two-step process. - Step one requires completing and submitting the IVP Participation Form.
- Step two requires providing NFRC details about ENERGY STAR qualified product lines

Item 1: TI-2012-06 Pivoted Window TIPC approved TIR-2012-06 as TI-2012-06 on February 5, 2013. This TI defines a pivoted window so the correct model size is chosen for the simulation of this product type. It can be found in the 2010 TI Manual (E1A12), posted on the NFRC website, and may be used immediately.

The National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) is the leading expert in the certification and testing for windows, doors, and skylights and is recognized by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as a Certification Body (CB) for the ENERGY STAR® program. To ensure that ENERGY STAR products continue to perform in the marketplace as originally designed and certified, EPA requires that all products bearing the ENERGY STAR logo be made available for independent verification testing. As a CB, NFRC is implementing an Independent Verification Program (IVP), scheduled for Spring 2013, to verify the performance ratings of ENERGY STAR qualified products. More
