The purpose of this effort is to provide and maintain accurate and well documented software that fulfills NFRC's core mission.

Daylighting Potential Rating Procedure Task Group

Staff Liaison: Michelle Scism

Scope: To bring forth a standardized value to all fenestration products that expresses the overall Daylighting impact of the fenestration on the interior space as defined by the NFRC.

Door Task Group

Staff Liaison: Sherri Wendt & Dennis Anderson

Scope: This group shall report to the U-factor Subcommittee and shall provide a forum for discussion and forwarding of proposals to develop or improve the simulation and testing methods and ratings, and certification and labeling procedures for exterior doors.

Environmentally Controlled Dynamic Glazing Task Group

Staff Liaison: Scott Hanlon

Scope: The task group scope is to establish criteria for rating environmentally controlled dynamic glazing products within the existing dynamic glazing ratings framework. The task group will report to the Technical Committee.

Fritted Glass Task Group

Staff Liaison: Jen Padgett

Scope: Find a way to obtain spectral data for fritted glass in a manner that would allow WINDOW calculations of IGUs. Determine best practice how to obtain data and verify the accuracy of these practices.

NFRC 101 Task Group

Staff Liaison: Jen Padgett

Scope: Maintain NFRC 101 (Thermophysical Properties of Materials)

NFRC 202 Expansion Task Group
